Product-Market fit. So that's what it's called! And how do you discover it? There's a lot of ways, but the core message was - talk to the customer, talk to your users, lead with empathy, understand how they interact with the problem, understand how they solve it today. In the end, understand how your solution / startup / idea will fit into how they operate today.
Learned about the 2x2 matrix of pain point severity vs frequency. What is the Frequency of the problem your business want to solve? - daily (ride hailing), monthly (get a paycheck) once a year (holiday shopping) once in a lifetime (retirement) ? How severe is this problem (minor issue vs life changing).
Learned about Ideation, meeting users, prioritizing your time and attention, and so much more. I wish someone had taught this to me before I started solving the touchless water fountain problem!
