Testing My First Prototype at the Kirkland Library

After months of tinkering with sensors, motors, and code, I finally like a prototype - mostly out of cardboard. Not pretty, but works to test the core idea.
I took it to the Kirkland Library and snapped it in the fountain and held my breath as I tested it. It didn’t work the way I wanted :( Either I missed the button or pressed too hard, and the alignment was off. I wasn’t surprised but came home pretty bummed out. Maybe this won't work... although I learned a few things ... precision matters a lot. Even a few millimeters can throw off the entire action. I left the library with a list of things to fix... That cardboard version didn’t work, but it helped me a lot. and it was free to put together.
